Smithery Style Fall Trends Guide
This is our first seasonal ‘trends guide’. A tradition we hope will become something our Smithery community looks forward to. We’ve been saying it for weeks but fall has officially arrived - and we are ready with the must have pieces you need now. We are ready to declare the big trends of Fall 2025.
Hold our PSL, drum roll, please!
A Hint of Animal Print
Animal print never really goes out of style, but this fall it’s all about finding pieces that feel chic and easy to wear every day. Instead of going full-on wild, think leopard print sweaters, animal print tops, and tailored pants you can dress up or down.
The Jessie Animal Pullover is a great example: it's cozy, neutral, and adds just the right pop of personality with that playful pink heart. For something lighter, the French Kitty Mesh Top layers under a blazer or cardigan and instantly elevates your look (without feeling too bold). And if you’re ready to lean all the way in, the Kitty Pant or Audrey Animal Ponte Pant your statement maker. Pair it with a simple knit or a denim jacket and you’ve got an effortlessly stylish fall outfit.
What we love most about animal print is how versatile it is. You can wear it to the office, on a night out, or just running errands, and it always feels a little extra chic.
Fringe In Focus
Fringe is one of those details that instantly changes the vibe of an outfit; it adds movement, personality, and a little nod to Western style without feeling like a costume. This fall, it’s all about those easy-to-wear pieces you can throw on with denim and boots and still feel chic.
The Zoe Short Jacket is a fun, cropped layer that mixes cozy knit texture with playful fringe across the front and back. It’s relaxed but still feels pulled together, perfect for casual nights out or even just elevating your everyday jeans-and-tee look.
If you want something a bit more polished, the Ziggy Fringe Coatigan is such a good option. The camel shade goes with literally everything, and the fringe along the lapel and hem gives it that extra bit of flair. You can belt it to define your waist or wear it open and easy. It works both ways.
Both of these pieces nail that balance of cozy and cool, making fringe one of the most wearable trends this season. Stay tuned for some more fringe options as things continue to arrive.
Trending Hues: Camel, Burgundy & Navy Blue
This fall it’s all about rich, timeless colours that feel easy to wear camel, burgundy, and navy are the trio we keep reaching for. The Georgette Bliss Blouse in Camel brings that soft polish you can dress up with trousers or down with denim. Call it camel, copper, tobacco, beige ... .we are going as far as calling this versatile hue the neutral rockstar of the season because it mixes so well with blacks, browns, and animal print.. Looking for something more rich? Agatha Jacket in Burgundy adds just the right amount of depth and drama without trying too hard. Think statement jacket, coatigan, or blazer. The Navy rounds everything out as the perfect grounding neutral , so much softer than black but just as versatile. Worn together or on their own, these shades mix seamlessly and instantly make even the simplest outfit feel pulled together. The Satin Flutter Sleeve Top in Navy is the perfect elevated basic tucked it into
tailored trousers for the office, or pair it with the Pleated Navy Skirt, or your favorite denim on weekends for a softer, relaxed take. It’s the kind of hue you’ll keep grabbing, no matter the occasion.
