Why we picked it: This sweater feels like fall nostalgia in the best possible way. The Freya from Canadian brand Gentle Fawn takes the classic Fair Isle sweater and gives it a softer, more modern feel with a warm biscotti base and touches of cream, brown and pale blue. The pattern sits right across the shoulders and upper body, making this an especially great choice for our A-Shapes because it naturally draws the eye up. And that oversized fold-over turtleneck? Peak cozy Canadian Fall.

How to style it:

  • Pair it with light-wash denim and suede boots for the full cozy fall weekend effect.
  • Wear it with dark straight-leg denim and loafers for a slightly more polished take on Fair Isle.
